The Marketing Team creates brand awareness and generates client leads through a variety of customer acquisition strategies, driving all revenue goals for the company.

Position Summary: The Digital Strategist strategizes and executes cohesive digital marketing campaigns, operating within the department budget to optimize marketing lead generation and brand awareness efforts. The Digital Strategist ensures revenue, budget, ROI, and other business goals are met. They support day-to-day marketing operations through budget management and allocation, campaign planning and execution, as well as advertisement performance reporting. They analyze data, identify trends in order to expand and optimize our client database, and manage all company paid media and PPC accounts (Google Adwords, Bing, YELP etc.), email marketing, and website projects. Their goal is to reduce overall advertising spend while increasing lead gen and web traffic through organic and paid sources. This role is accountable to lead generation and cost per lead KPIs. This role will work closely with all marketing team members as well as department leaders to ensure strategies are executed effectively while maintaining brand standards. This role understands that our clients and agents are the fuel that powers growth for the company and executes with the mindset that puts the client and agent first.

Essential Functions:

  • Operations:
    • Manage, create, and execute on all digital marketing campaigns to maximize local reach and support lead generation goals for all markets.
    • Manage and optimize budgets, A/B test ad creatives/copy, keyword research, set up audiences, and optimize for conversions and KPIs.
    • Create and optimize website copy, blogs and landing pages.
    • Perform keyword discovery and optimization.
    • Research and implement SEO recommendations.
    • Research and analyze competitor advertising links.
    • Develop and implement a link building strategy internally.
    • Work with development team to ensure SEO best practices are properly implemented.
    • Recommend changes to website architecture, content, and linking as needed.
    • Keep up to date on industry trends to educate the team and implement best practices.
  • Strategy:
    • Allocate budget and analyze data to support lead generation goals for all markets.
    • Continuously update tracking systems as needed to measure audiences accurately and in ways that help drive smart business decisions.
    • Project manage outsourced agencies as needed.
    • Seek out new opportunities and propose new ideas/platforms.
    • Collaborate with the marketing team to support lead generation efforts as needed.
  • Be the Digital Marketing subject matter expert.
  • Be agile and adjust execution strategies based on current business needs, assist with process review and improvement.
  • Create periodical reports of department, team, functional and/or market insights.
  • Plan and participate in company promoted events, promote internally and externally as needed.
  • Participate in team meetings and collaborative sessions, generate new ideas and execute.
  • Assist with efforts in other markets, as needed.
  • All other duties as assigned.

Required Education and Experience:

  • High School Diploma or equivalent is required
  • Bachelor’s Degree in marketing or related field is preferred
  • Minimum of 3-5 years of digital marketing experience
  • 3+ years of experience in SEO, SEM and PPC
  • 2+ years of experience in SEM copywriting

Required Skills / Abilities:

  • Search Console, TagManager, SEMRush or other SEO tools is preferred
  • Wordpress or similar CMS
  • Mailchimp (or other email marketing tool)
  • Social Media for Business (Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, YouTube)
  • Google Ads and Analytics
  • Asana (or other project management software)
  • Google Workspace (Gmail, Calendar, Docs, Sheets, etc)
  • Experience in lead generation and B2C marketing
  • Experience executing and managing ad campaigns, A/B testing, retargeting, and remarketing
  • Proven experience doing keyword research and implementing new SEO strategies
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Effective time management, project coordination, and ability to meet multiple deadlines
  • Strong communication and active listening skills with the ability to handle feedback
  • Thrives in a fast-paced environment where they get to try new things
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team


Expected Hours of Work:

  • Typical business hours: 8:30am - 5:30pm Monday - Friday, availability for escalations may be needed outside of normal business hours.

Travel:

  • Up to 10% of the time.
  • Minimal travel may be required for business functions, team training, and culture events.
